Replit needs the old logo back

Now I am no front end dev, but I feel to get this out there I need to make a site for this

If you have been around the site recently, you may feel something is off...
Have a look at the logo! Its new, its weird, some love it, some hate it, personally im on team old.

For years that old logo has stood representing this company and its developers, it's gained a meaning only a replit user can understand.

The new logo is three dots based on a brail character that we have had annoyingly in the consoles of repls for a while. It holds no value to the replit community.
Rant over, heres some legitimate reasons I believe the new logo cannot match the old.

• Its not the old logo - though progressing is good for everything, holding onto your roots is a strong connection. Losing the theming completely is a massive and unwelcomed shock. I believe the company should redesign the existing logo instead.


• The community says no - Though sometimes the community holds things back, it can be for good reason. The general census appears to be keep the old logo


• Designers - based on the votes hosted in the replit discord server, the majority of the people voting for the new logo are its designers and replit staff whom have to follow replits example like it or not. The users, not designers, of replit want to see the logo that replit has always stood for


• Nostalgia - The old logo has always been with us through ups and downs, representing this beautiful site and company. It holds dear to its community
